I'm not making any deadlines for myself, but if this week continues to progress this well, I maybe ready to start posting soon. That also depends on the wiki development to stop being a pain-in-the-ass.

2010 Fiction Word Count Week 6

I've been busy, but not with first drafts of anything. I had some kooky ideas of counting edits, but that has not worked.

What I have been doing:

• Saints won the Superbowl; at least a happy reason to get knocked off the loop
• Editing Tin Man: Pirates of the Nonestic
• Trying to set up a wiki on the Circulation Desk
• Real life complications with the budget
• Creating the language of Tala's adopted clan to test out Holly Lisle's Create a Language Clinic, which I have owned for years now and haven't actually used. Next will be building Mylte's language for Zy's novel.

Weather is turning nasty in my part of the world. With luck, I'll get a three-day weekend with power so I can cross more items off the to do list and concentrate on finding a new project.

The bits done on the computer haven't progressed, but I have just finished making all my second draft red marks in all 44 chapters. Now I just have to finish translating them into the computer copy.

Finished the first draft Jan. 31, 2010 and totally forgot to keep metrics on it. :p

Can't fill it out now because the NC-17 story is safe at home. But look at that word count. I'm still stunned that my porn idea developed plot (a la Purplehino).

I've wrapped that up but I don't have any more already composed stuff ready to take up the word count for the month of February. Poor planning on my part? Maybe. I'm going to start counting my additions when I edit and words written for the background materials at least until I start writing on a project again.
