Chapter One total: 2111
Chapter Two total: 2525
Chapter Three total: 2906
Chapter Four total: 281

What I hate about my writing: The feeling that maybe I should take a day off once a week.
The Good: Some words are better than no words, but I have more words to type tomorrow.
The Bad: It wasn't Mother's Day that threw off the word count, but my computer caught a bug. After I got it healed and deleted a few other troublesome programs, I was already working on rough draft and didn't reopen the Word files.
What I Accomplished in the Narrative Today: Peg found her grandmother's journal—wait I haven't typed that part yet.
Fave line: "Your father should tell you that story. If he won't then I will, but ask him first."
What I'm looking forward to: Raven's introduction.
What I'm not looking forward to: Figuring out how to work harder on the weekends.

Progress Bar from Writertopia
METRICS
New Words: 512
Chapter One total: 2111
Chapter Two total: 2525
Chapter Three total: 2766
Chapter Four total: 281
Total words for the first draft: 7683
What I hate about my writing: Getting distracted while at home.
The Good: Best day of writing all week!
The Bad: I spent far too long on the computer game. Also the Internal Editor is trying to freak out that I'm boring the hypothetical readers, but I have the feeling the freak out would be over anything so not to work on this story.
What I Accomplished in the Narrative Today: Peg's exploring again and I'm worried that it's boring, boring, boring.
Fave line: "I don't think there's much of a career in being a bubble-head anything."
What I'm looking forward to: Raven's introduction.
What I'm not looking forward to: Figuring out how to work harder on the weekends.

METRICS

Chapter One total: 2111
Chapter Two total: 2525
Chapter Three total: 2254
Chapter Four total: 281
Total words for the first draft: 7171
What I hate about my writing: Never feeling like I'm doing enough.
The Good: I'm finally done with Deats and Alexander until Chapter Four.
The Bad: I accidentally started Chapter Four today when I didn't realize I needed to break up the scene into two parts.
What I Accomplished in the Narrative Today: Broke away from Alexander and Deats to pick up with Peg and Jane in the breakfast room with the cooler.
Fave line: Jane's cheer was as brittle as the china plates displayed on the sideboard in front of them.
What I'm looking forward to: Raven's introduction.
What I'm not looking forward to: Figuring out how to work on the weekends.

The Good: Yes, I did work.
The Bad: I didn't get done with the scene like I thought I would. I'm blaming Mustard since he disrupted my sleep pattern last night.
What I Accomplished in the Narrative Today: Still dealing with the evidence.
Fave line: Didn't have one.
What I'm looking forward to: Raven's introduction.

METRICS
New Words: 273
Chapter One total: 2111
Chapter Two total: 2525
Chapter Three total: 1801
Total words for the first draft: 6437
What I hate about my writing: Figuring out how to maintain progress over the weekend.
The Good: I actually got to work on this story.
The Bad: I've been giving into my procrastination tactics far too easily.
What I Accomplished in the Narrative Today: We got to the collected evidence.
Fave line: "The Ver Hagan family are vampires? So all the talk about the one-percent being parasites of society is literal truth."
What I'm looking forward to: Raven's introduction.
What I'm not looking forward to: Any more crazy out of today!
Interesting Author's note: I played with Feath's Tarot readings generator today. My thoughts on what came up in italics, and if I didn't leave a note, I'm still thinking it over.
- What is Alexander's flaw? The Devil: Ravage, violence, vehemence, extraordinary efforts, force, fatality. o.O That is so on the money, but I'm not sure how to work it into the scene with him and Deats.
- What is Ferris' flaw? The Hanged Man reversed: Selfishness. I can see that, especially since it would be selfishness caught up in a motivation lie that he's doing good.
- What is Raven's flaw? The Emperor: Stability, power, protection, realization, a great person, aid, reason, conviction, authority.
- What is Deats' flaw? The Tower: Misery, distress, indigence, adversity, calamity, disgrace, deception, ruin, unforeseen catastrophe.
- What is Jane's flaw? Judgement reversed: Weakness, pusillanimity, simplicity, deliberation, decision, sentence.
- What is David's flaw? Strength: Power, energy, action, courage, magnanimity; also complete success and honours.
- What is Sally's flaw? The Moon reversed: Instability, inconstancy, silence, lesser degrees of deception and error. She's a teenager; it so fits.
- What is Robert's flaw? Wheel of Fortune: Destiny, fortune, success, elevation, luck, felicity.
- What is Peg's flaw? The Hanged Man reversed: Selfishness. Second time was the Hermit: Prudence, circumspection; also and especially treason, dissimulation, roguery, corruption.

Chapter Two total: 2525
Chapter Three total: 1528
Total words for the first draft: 6164
What I hate about my writing: Figuring out how to maintain progress over the weekend.
The Good: I almost got 200 words today.
The Bad: Blog posts ate up most of my word power.
What I Accomplished in the Narrative Today: Described the new lair and Deats has started cracking on the secret he has kept for twenty-two years.
Fave line: "What is this? Are you telling me my father was some sort of costumed vigilante freak?"
What I'm looking forward to: Iron Man 3
What I'm not looking forward to: All the chores I must do to justify going to Iron Man 3.

Progress Bar from Writertopia
METRICS
New Words: 365
Chapter One total: 2111
Chapter Two total: 2525
Chapter Three total: 1373
Total words for the first draft: 6009
What I hate about my writing: When the word count surprises me. I thought I had wrote less than that.
The Good: It felt like I had eked out 100 words at the most, so color me awed when I did the math.
The Bad: It could have been more words except I had to stop and figure out what the location the characters entered looks like.
What I Accomplished in the Narrative Today: Realized I hadn't put any thought into the armor design and what I vaguely remember from the initial hypertext version now reminds me of Iron Man. Oops.
Fave line: "You've been hiding a basement from me?"
What I'm looking forward to: Iron Man 3
What I'm not looking forward to: All the chores I must do to justify going to Iron Man 3.

Forget the Sun Metrics 13
Progress Bar from Writertopia
METRICS
New Words: 191
Chapter One total: 2111
Chapter Two total: 2525
Chapter Three total: 1008
Total words for the first draft: 5644
What I hate about my writing: Spending all the words on blog posts.
The Good: WORDS!
The Bad: So it's been a while for this story. Basically with everything going on, I didn't have the spoons to fight my muse and let her frolic in the Dark Knight Rises for what was supposed to be a weekend and ended up taking a whole month.
What I Accomplished in the Narrative Today: Alexander and Deats are talking about why Alexander went to Prague.
Fave line: "Yet he leaves Mother and spends over half her pregnancy in Europe on business before dying in Prague on my birthday? That's not a man excited about having a family; that's a man running away from one."
What I'm looking forward to: Well my finances blew up in my face, so I need something new to look forward to.
What I'm not looking forward to: Organizing all the images I've found of a major location stand-in.
