Evil Jack: Till Death Do We Part
The slight roaring sound settled in the parking yard behind the garage. Hannah sat up in her bed. That hadn't sounded like a bike or a car. She slipped out of her bed and opened the door.
The living room windows that overlooked the parking yard had a new bright light shining through them before quickly turning off, so she could see the glow of the Christmas lights on the tree in the corner by the TV. She tucked her head under the curtains and looked out.
Summary: Stoker, Carbine, and Rimfire come secretly to Chicago with knowledge of Limburger’s latest plan and agendas of their own in the latest story of the Evil Jack series.
This story was bare-bones outlined before 2004 when I posted those notes on my Discipline Under Fire blog, before I finished writing For Worse and took my years long sabbatical from Biker Mice From Mars. After writing Three of a Kind and the future of these characters, it was easy to delve into the how and why Hannah still has a grudge against Carbine after six years. I hope you enjoy this addition to the series.
