Tin Man: Prince of the Outer Zone Post 3

Today has not had a good start at all. So I'm really glad I already put and got approved for some vacation time yesterday. Only 16 days to get through.

In an effort to get more enthused about today, you get more casting pics!

Kiamoko's real world example: Niedzica Castle in Poland (I think, my source material is at home :p)

Here's another angle:
I need to go check Maguire again for how close Kiamoko is to water. My chosing this castle was more for the architecture and less for landscape.

Not named yet Commissioner of Police in Central City played by Ruben Santiago-Hudson:

Franklin, the Steward of Kiamoko is played by Joseph Marcell:

General Leblanc, Commander of Scrowtown Base is played by Michael Hogan:

Since I have been unable to track down the extra I picked out of the miniseries, I recast Miriam Jason. She is now played by Emily Ann Lloyd:

The head cook who berated Ahamo and Wyatt Cain in the second chapter of Tin Man: Pirates of the Nonestic has got a name and a new position. Rosie Gamgee is now the head cook for Kiamoko and is played by Kathy Bates:

History Lesson time: In my fanon history for the O.Z., Maguire's Wicked-verse happened (the book, NOT the musical). The Wizard was not "a good man but a bad wizard;" Oscar Zoroaster Diggs came to Oz looking for the Grimmerie, but became sidetracked when he discovered he could orchestrate a coup d'état and overthrow the Ozma Regent. It is heavily implied that he fathered Elphaba while her mother was under the influence of the Miracle Elixir, which may explain Elphaba's green skin, her aquaphobia, and occasional ability to read parts of the Grimmerie, which originated in the Wizard's world. This is the character The Marvelous Land of Oz hints at, which fan outrage caused Baum to drop completely in favor of the kind humbug.

The last Mystic Man (played by Richard Dreyfuss)'s actions have had some ramifications on the plot and led me to thinking about the office. These thoughts led to a brainwave that lets us have the corrupt tyrant AND the lovable humbug.

So let me introduce you to Oscar Zoroaster Diggs, the Wizard of the O.Z. played by Ben Kingsley:

Dorothy Gale didn't get to go home after she accidentally killed Elphaba and she eventually teamed up with Ozma to overthrow the Emperor Apostle. After Ozma was settled on the throne, she experimented with the first conjured travel storm to bring Henry and Emma Gale to the O.Z. for Dorothy. Uncle Henry and Auntie Em made it along with the Professor Marvel they had been consulting about Dorothy's fate.

Emmannuel Ambroise Phadrig gave some very good advice over a crisis facing the Queen, and she made him the first Mystic Man and a de facto advisor to the throne. He is played by Frank Morgan:

I don't know if they'll actually make even a flashback appearance, but that's what the muse has come up with.
