It was rejected, and I'm not freaked out about that. I didn't really expect a different outcome since I can't write horror.
But Whitlock Publishing was surprisingly easy to submit to and they also sent an email telling me they had received the submission. I've got no qualms submitting to them again, provided they have a project I can click with.
